Visits and Trips
To inform and inspire learning within school, pupils will experience a range of educational trips and workshops delivered by external providers during the school year.
School trips will usually link with topics being taught in class enabling children to deepen and enrich their learning.
We also run a residential trip in Year 6; to PGL Bawdsey Manor. The mix of outdoor learning and staying away from home develops resilience, independence and confidence. Due to the positive impact the residential trip has on developing relationships, this is arranged for the Autumn term – allowing strong bonds to build at the beginning of their final year.
Mr Keith Birbeck has completed the full Education Visits Coordinator Training and all staff use Evolve to help support the safe planning of Educational Visits.
