Visits and Trips
To inform and inspire learning within school, pupils will experience a range of educational trips and workshops delivered by external providers during the school year.
School trips will usually link with topics being taught in class enabling children to deepen and enrich their learning.
We also run a residential trip in Year 6; recent venues have included Mersea Outdoor Centre and Kingswood. The mix of outdoor learning and staying away from home develop resilience, independence and confidence. Due to the positive impact the residential trip has on developing relationships, this is arranged for the Autumn term – allowing strong bonds to build at the beginning of their final year.
