The Wider Curriculum
At St Andrew’s, children learn to develop important social skills, like being part of a team, sharing ideas and learning to be self-confident. Technology is used across subjects and the school has an IT suite as well as sets of laptops, iPads and Chrome books. Interactive whiteboards are installed in all classes.
Religious Education is taught in accordance with the Agreed County Syllabus. Children explore the beliefs and customs of a range of faiths, making links and comparisons with their own experiences.
Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) is taught alongside the PSHE curriculum. We teach this area of the curriculum with regard to moral and individual responsibility, in a way that allows children to ask and explore moral questions.
