St Andrew's C of E Primary Academy

Inspiring children to achieve their personal best

Friends of St. Andrew’s Primary School (FOStAPS)

The 'Friends of St Andrew's Primary School' (FOStAPS) are a small, friendly group of staff, parents and family members who work together to arrange fund-raising events and activities to raise much needed extra funds for the children and our school. St Andrews has had a PTA in one form or another since 1986. We have raised funds which have provided many extra facilities that have enriched the school life.

Our emphasis is on 'fun' and we try to ensure that the events that we hold are enjoyable for all, especially the children. Throughout the year we aim to arrange several different activities and we welcome any suggestions that you may have for new fund-raising opportunities. We appreciate the great support that we receive from parents and staff and we look forward to building on our success. Please watch the newsletter and website for details of forthcoming events; we also have a Facebook page where we make announcements of upcoming events and general communication.

Every parent/carer is automatically a member of the association and welcome to attend its functions, whether they are social or educational. If you would like to get involved further, have a suggestion, or just need to get in touch, then feel free to drop us an email on fostapssecretary@gmail.com or speak to any of our committee members in person.

We have lots of events in and outside of school planned. We always work with the school when planning our events and sometimes dates have to change but you can find our current calendar of planned events here and our latest Newsletter has more about the upcoming term here. You can also keep track of what’s going on and get notifications and reminders on our Facebook page.
