School Provision over Easter Holidays (Mon 6/04/20 to Friday 17/04/20 inclusive)

Schools are remaining open only for the children of Key Workers critical to the ongoing management of Covid-19, that are unable to safely stay at home. If there is an alternative adult, such as a partner or second parent, who is not a critical worker parents may be questioned as to why the child/ren is/are not able to stay at home as per the Government's guidance. If the other adult is working at home or able to take leave from their non-critical job, this will be deemed as a safe alternative (as per Essex LA guidance for schools).

Currently our school does not intend to be open over the Easter Holiday Period

as there is presently no demand in line with the latest Government Restrictions on childcare provision. However, should you meet the criteria, as detailed in the above paragraph, and your circumstances as critical workers suddenly change in such a way that you have no alternative and require our assistance, please email the school under the subject title 'Critical Worker Childcare Required'. Please use the admin email address (admin@st-andrewscofe.essex.sch.uk) which will be monitored on a daily basis, providing a minimum of 24 hours' notice, so that we can arrange a provision to meet your needs.

Welcome to St Andrew's Primary School.

School should be a most exciting time in every child's life.

We believe that by working in partnership with parents we can ensure that each child achieves their ‘Personal Best’ in all areas of learning.

We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and friendly staff and very much value the support we receive from our parents and the local community.

Our mission statement displays all the aspects that our children endeavour to be their best at.
